2 arrested after chase 12/18/12 7:45a.m. TDH

2-people were arrested after leading salinas police officers on a car chase early monday morning.  officers tried to pull over 46-year-old Michael a. galope at about  3 a.m. near north main and west rossi streets, but he did not stop.  galope tried to flee on foot after he finally stopped, but he was caught and arrested.  he is facing several charges, including evading arrest.  A passenger,  42-year-old cyrene urquidez, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
