Man tased, arrested 12/17/12 7:24p.m. TDH
A man was tased by salinas police officers early monday morning, after trying to run away from the scene of an accident. 26-year-old jefte orozco was taken into custody near north 1st street and Navajo drive. that’s where orzco had crashed into a parked vehicle, following a high speed chase with pursuing officers. orozco was booked into monterey county jail on suspicion of DUI and driving with a suspended license. A passenger, 29-year-old fadrick orozco, was arrested for public intoxication.
