Elder abuse 12/17/12 7p.m. TDH

A 31-year-old woman was arrested this weekend on charges of elder abuse.  Salinas resident Melissa Ferrell was identified as a suspect in the case, which centered on the theft of 10-thousand dollars from a salinas residence.  Ferrell and another person were allegedly employed by the victim as housecleaners.   Salinas police are still trying to locate the other suspect.  Ferrell was arrested without incident Saturday morning.
