sal. strong armed robbery 12/09/12 8p.m. TDH

a 24-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint in salinas saturday evening.  the strong-armed robbery occurred just after 6 p.m., as the victim was walking on the under-1-hundred block of north madiera avenue.  2-subjects approached the victim, and demanded his money while brandishing a handgun.  the victim surrendered a small amount of cash, but he was not injured.   the suspects fled in a vehicle described as a white acura with tinted windows.
