Drowning victim id’d 12/07/12 4:40p.m. TDH
A man who was found dead in soquel creek last week has been identified as 47-year-old capitola resident Christian dewaard. The santa cruz county coroner determined that dewaard died from accidental drowning. His body was found in the creek (in the area of bay avenue) on November 30th, following days of heavy rainfall.
