auto theft arrest 12/02/12 10p.m. TDH

a man was arrested in salinas friday night after he was found to be driving a stolen car.  23-year-old Jose Herrera was pulled over for speeding on natividad road.   salinas police officers realized the license plates on the vehicle he was driving did not match that vehicle, and the car was determined to have been stolen from the los angeles area.  herrera was taken into custody and booked into monterey county jail.
