salinas shooting injures 1 11/25/12 11:30p.m. TDH

a 37-year-old man was shot in salinas saturday afternoon.   the victim was walking on north main street at 1:37 p.m., when he was approached by 2 people.  1 person pulled out a handgun and fired 6 shots at the man.  the victim was hit by 1-bullet, and sustained injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.  he was air lifted to a san jose trauma center to be treated.  the shooters fled on foot and were not immediately located.
