deer causes CHP wreck 11/25/12 10p.m. TDH

a deer on highway-1 caused a california highway patrol officer to wreck his patrol car early sunday morning.   at 1:45 a.m., 2-officers were headed northbound near the freedom boulevard exit, when a deer ran across the highway.  the officer swerved to avoid the animal and crashed into the guardrail.  the officer riding in the passenger seat was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries, but the driver was not injured.
