home invasion, weapons arrest 11/17/12 TDH

2-people were arrested following an armed residential burglary in salinas saturday afternoon, (but not the people who committed the robbery).  the incident began at 3:41 p.m., when 2 men armed with handguns rushed into a house on the 3-hundred block of williams road and robbed 6-people inside.  the subjects fled with cash and personal property.  the suspects had fled by the time salinas police officers arrived, but officers did find 2 of the residents loading firearms and into an S-U-V.  26-year-old miguel beltran and 19-year-old william hernandez hadn't been home at the time of the robbery, and were trying to hide the illegal items before officers responded to the crime.  the 2 were arrested, and booked into monterey county jail.  the perpetrators of the home invasion were not located.
