Water main closes WV street 11/12/12 7a.m. TDH

Portions of watsonville’s east beach street were closed yesterday after a water main burst.  The pipe ruptured at about 6 a.m., leaving a 6-foot-wide crater in the street (between Lincoln and Blackburn streets).  The incident did not affect the nearby veterans’ day parade.  Repairs on the line and street are expected to be completed later this week.
