salinas-omaha plane crashes, 2 dead 11/11/12 10:30p.m. TDH
a small private plane that took off from salinas municipal airport saturday night crashed near fresno, killing the 2-people on board. the 2-engine cessna was bound for omaha, nebraska, when it went down at about 7:30 p.m. (east of shaver lake). the victims were identified as 67-year-old patrick clarke and his son 41-year-old scott clarke, (both nebraska residents). investigators with the national transportation safety board are expected to aid in the investigation into what caused the crash.
