Maverick’s window opens 11/11/12 10p.m. TDH

The window to hold the mavericks surf contest has opened.  Organizers can hold the big-wave competition any time between now and the end of march.  When conditions are right, the contest will be announced, and surfers worldwide will have about a day to get themselves to half moon bay’s pillar point, to surf some of the biggest waves on the planet.
