MCO gang conference 11/09/12 TDH
The monterey county joint gang task force is hosting the 7th annual gang conference this weekend. the event at the old Sherwood hall, (now called the Steinbeck institute of arts and culture), features about 3-hundred law enforcement officers from multiple levels of enforcement. Participants receive 16-hours of certified training in gang prevention tactics. In addition to training, this year’s informational events will discuss the state’s prison realignment, prison gangs, and gang drop-outs.
