Fresh express spinach recall 11/08/12 7:15p.m. TDH
A voluntary recall has been announced for some “fresh express” packaged spinach. The recall was initiated after tests revealed possible traces of salmonella. The affected product is fresh express spinach sold in 9-ounce portions, with a use-by date of November 7th. No illnesses have been reported in connection with the voluntary recall. Monterey county health officials stressed that no other fresh express products are involved in the recall.
