c.c. responders to assist Sandy recovery 11/01/12 7a.m. TDH

Emergency responders and utility workers from the central coast are headed east to assist with hurricane sandy recovery work.  Volunteers with the American red cross monterey bay area chapter were sent to help distribute aid, while a 20-person firefighting team from the los padres national forest will assist F.E.M.A. crews with debris removal.   p.g. & e. has sent repair crews to help con-edison utility workers in new york.
