Take A Look At Some Local Flooding

One man was found dead and one woman critically injured after a shooting in Watsonville early this morning.    Watsonville Police Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Prospect Avenue at 3am, where they found a 22-year-old woman with a life threatening gunshot wound.      Officers followed a trail of blood up Prospect Avenue and into an unsecured building, where they found the body of a 37-year-old man.    The man had numerous gunshot wounds and was dead on the scene.   The young woman was transported to a bay area hospital.    The severity of her injuries did not allow the woman to give a description of the shooting, and there are no suspects in custody.    Anyone with any information about this incident is urged to contact the Watsonville Police Department.   This is Watsonville’s first homicide of the year.
