ONE THOUSAND GILROY GARLIC FESTIVAL TICKETS, WORTH MORE THAN TWELVE THOUSAND DOLLARS, HAVE BEEN STOLEN.  THE THIEF STOLE HUGE BUNDLES OF TICKETS FROM THE FESTIVAL’S HEADQUARTERS AT SOME POINT BETWEEN JUNE 5TH AND JULY 2ND, AND GILROY POLICE HAVE LAUNCHED AN INVESTIGATION.       NO SUSPECTS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED SO FAR AND THE TICKETS ARE STILL MISSING.  THE SERIAL NUMBERS OF THE STOLEN TICKETS HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED, AND ANYONE ATTEMPTING TO REDEEM ONE OF THE TICKETS WILL BE DENIED ENTRY TO THE FAIR, AND THEIR TICKET WILL BE TAKEN.  MONEY RAISED FROM TICKET SALES GOES BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, AND TO CHARITY.   ANYONE WHO BELIEVES THEY HAVE PURCHASED A STOLEN TICKET, OR WITH INFORMATION ON THE CASE IS URGED TO CALL GILROY POLICE AT 408-846-0350.
