Embezzler sentenced 07/09/12 10p.m. TDH

A 44-year-old woman has been sentenced to 60-days of jail time for embezzlement.    Ben lomond resident Stephanie olmstead pleaded guilty last month to stealing about     93-hundred dollars from the san Lorenzo valley middle school panther club, (which is a non-profit parent-teacher organization that raises money for student programs).   olmstead paid restitution in the same amount upon her guilty plea.    While olmstead is required to report to santa cruz county jail, she was given permission to serve her sentence through an alternative-custody program.  Olmstead was also sentenced to 36-months probation, and is also legally required to disclose the conviction if she applies for an accounting position.
