Flooding, Road Closures As Heavy Rains Fall On Saturated Ground

NO  ONE  WAS  INJURED  LAST  NIGHT  WHEN  SHOTS  WERE  FIRED  INTO  A  VEHICLE  IN  SALINAS.        5  GUNSHOTS  WERE  HEARD  BY  PEOPLE  ON  THE  700  BLOCK  OF  TOWT  STREET,   AND  A  TEENAGER  DISCOVERED  THAT  HIS  CAR  HAD  BEEN  HIT BY  SEVERAL  OF  THE  ROUNDS.      NO  ONE  WAS  IN  THE  VEHICLE  AT  THE  TIME.       ANYONE  WHO  MAY  HAVE  WITNESSED  THE  11:30  P.M.  SHOOTING   IS  ENCOURAGED  TO  CONTACT  THE  SALINAS  POLICE  DEPARTMENT.
