A 1-and-a-half year old dog was rescued from a Cliffside in big sur wednesday.   The male shepherd mix was stuck on a ledge about 12-feet down a cliff near lucia.   A specialist with the s-p-c-a for monterey county rappelled down to the dog and brought up to safety.   The dog was reportedly emaciated and covered in ticks, but is expected to fully recover.   Anyone who knows the owner of the 1-and-a-half year old male shepherd mix is encouraged to contact the s-p-c-a for monterey county.   you can do so by visiting the organizations website, at:      spcamc.org.      the phone number for s-p-c-a for monterey county is 831-373-2631.
