Salinas chase, arrests 06/03/12 8p.m. TDH

2-people were arrested near salinas over the weekend on drug-possession and other charges.   members of the monterey county joint gang task force attempted to stop a vehicle on north main street near boronda road at 12 a.m. Saturday morning.  the driver fled onto highway-101, but, after he exited the highway, officers were able to end the chase by spinning the vehicle in what’s known as a “PITT maneuver.”  29-year-old luis Fuentes and 23-year-old edgar sosa were arrested on multiple charges including possession of methamphetamine with intent for sale. They were booked into monterey county jail.
