salinas carjacking 05/23/12 0900 e.a.

a salinas teen was arrested last night on suspicion of auto robbery. the victim was driving home on riker street when the 17 year old suspect simulated a handgun while demanding the man’s car and cell phone.  the stolen car was spotted by marina police officers a short time later.  the suspect was found to be driving under the influence and on probation.
