salinas police officers are looking for a man suspected of attempting to kidnap a 9-year old girl near loma vista elementary school yesterday.  around 2:25 p.m., a man in a ford f-150 pickup truck pulled up alongside the girl and yelled at her repeatedly to “get in the truck”.   the girl ran into her school and told a teacher.  the suspect was last seen driving westbound on sausal drive away from the school.  anyone with any information on this tuesday afternoon incident is asked to contact the salinas police department.
