an aromas man has been sentenced to life in prison, for the murder of a woman in 1977.   57 year old louis agustine salazar was arrested in 2007, after dna evidence linked him to the then 30 year old murder.  salazar bludgeoned 86 year old teressie white to death in her bed in april of 1977.  salazar’s sentence allows for a parole hearing in 7 years.  because the crime was committed in early 1977, when was no life without parole sentence in california, salazar will be eligible for parole.
