A 27-year-old man was arrested for auto theft on Sunday.  Security guards at a housing complex on the 23-hundred block of north main street called salinas police after noticing that a vehicle that they had been preparing to tow did not have license plates.  An Officer arrived and confirmed that that the vehicle was stolen, and while the officer was there, another vehicle burglary was reported by the security guard.  Zachary dobbs was identified as the suspect, and was arrested on multiple charges, including burglary and auto theft.
