Nobody was injured when a vehicle caught fire on Saturday morning in monterey county.  The incident happened at 10 a.m., when firefighters were called to the intersection of carmel valley road and rancho san carlos road.  A small cargo truck had caught fire;   firefighters extinguished the flames.  The only occupant of the vehicle was able to escape safely.  The truck was destroyed.   The cause of the vehicle-fire is under investigation.
