Earthquakes 4/4/10 tdh

Seismic activity was recorded around throughout the california region yesterday.     At 3:40 p.m., a magnitude 7.2-earthquake was recorded about 100 miles south of the

U.s. border.   The quake was felt throughout southern california and arizona, however no major damage was reported.   Nine minutes later, at 3:49 p.m., a magnitude 4.0-quake struck about 25-miles north of santa rosa.   The two quakes were reportedly unrelated, and no damage has been reported in the northern california quake.
