A charter high school in Salinas has been selected to be 1 of 8 demonstration sites in California. Because of the new designation, Millenium Charter High School (which is a Design, Visual, and Media Arts Pathway, as well as a Production and Managerial Arts Pathway) is eligible for up to 15 thousand dollars in state funding. The curriculum at Millenium Charter emphasizes 21st century skills with Digital Media Technology and the Arts.
