2 local beaches have been posted with Water Quality Advisory Signs. As of Friday, both Cowell Beach (west of the wharf), and Capitola Beach (east and west of the jetty) had elevated levels E.coli. Those beaches will remain posted until the levels of bacteria are once again safe for human contact.
