Santa Cruz Public Works has announced that permit parking will begin in the Live Oak Beach Area in April. From April 4, to Sept. 7, the area between the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor and 38th Avenue will be a permit only zone on each weekend, and on Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day. Permit parking will be enforced from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on those days. For more information contact the Live Oak Parking Program Office at (831) 454-2990.
