A 36-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison yesterday, after being convicted earlier this year of 9-counts of domestic violence. Noah ryan encallado will be eligible for parole under the life-sentence…but not for 177-years. Monterey county judge Julie culver invoked california’s 3-strikes law when issuing the sentence. Encallado was also ordered to pay more-than-18-thousand dollars in restitution to his victims. The 3-victims had written to the court, requesting that encallado receive the maximum penalty for his crimes, (which took place between 1996 and 2010).
