Another lettuce recall from a salinas based company has been announced. River ranch fresh foods issued the voluntary recall, due to concerns about possible listeria contamination. A random test of the lettuce, distributed by golden eagle, found traces of the bacteria. The lettuce was sold in ohio, pennsylvania, and iowa. The lettuce was sold under the names Hy-Vee and Giant eagle’s farmers market, with a use by date of October 14th.
