SALINAS-BASED TANIMURA AND ANTLE IS RECALLING SOME OF ITS ROMAINE LETTUCE, AFTER RECEIVING A REPORT OF POSSIBLE SALMONELLA CONTAMINATION. THE SINGLE LOT OF “FIELD FRESH, WRAPPED, SINGLE-HEAD ROMAINE” LETTUCE HAS A “BEST BY DATE” OF AUGUST 19TH. THE AFFECTED LETTUCE WAS SHIPPED TO 19-STATES AND PUERTO RICO. NO ILLNESSES HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE VOLUNTARY RECALL.
