The U.S. House Of Representatives has voted (unanimously) to pass the Legal Services For Homeless Veterans Act. That means money for legal services for homeless veterans because homelessness can easily lead to citations (for instance for sleeping on benches, illegal parking and/or camping, and being drunk in public). Once veterans start to get citations, things can get worse (legally) very quickly….with missed court appearances, warrants, and more. HR-3749 goes next to the U.S. Senate.
