A lecture on trade policy will be held on the UC Santa Cruz campus today. The event will feature UCSC Professor Joel Paul in a talk called “Trading Up: How to Make Globalization Work for People”. Paul will discuss how to use market forces to promote environmental sustainability and support democracy. The lecture is part of the UC Hastings Social Justice Speakers Series. The event will take place at 7 p.m. in the Media Theater at the Performing Arts building. The lecture is free to students and $5 for the public.
