The c-e-o and executive director of the santa cruz non- profit “Ecology action” has announced her retirement. Scotts valley resident Virginia Johnson has served as head of the recycling organization since 1995. Ecology action began with 3-employees; the organization now employs 100-people. Ecology action works with businesses and local governments to help them become more energy-efficient.
