(12:43)SANTA CRUZ- The Land Trust of Santa Cruz County has announced additional funding for the Highway laurel tunnel has been secured. On Wednesday, , the Wildlife Conservation Board approved $415,000 for the protection of the third and final property needed to build the wildlife tunnel. The expected passage of Measure D will provide 5 million dollars in construction funding, while Caltrans is supplying 3.1 million dollars for project design.
