A wildfire in the las cumbras area (near boulder creek) was contained to 7-acres on Saturday. The fire ignited at 7:17 a.m., off of deer creek road. more than 2-hundred firefighters from cal-fire and other departments were able to stop the fire’s spread by 10 p.m. no structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.
