On Sunday night, residents of Seaside had no dial tone on their landlines.
AT&Ts Seaside distribution center was reportedly knocked out of service for a few hours.
Over 11-thousand customers were affected, and while the issue has been resolved, emergency services could only be reached on internet or cellular-based telephone systems during the outage.
