A wildfire is raging in southern California… and crews are battling to protect homes from the 11-thousand acre brush fire.
The blaze is located in the Angeles national forest near Lake Hughes and has forced the evacuation of residents. Firefighters were able to get 5-percent containment yesterday but today’s heat could spell trouble as triple digits are forecast on the fire line.
Some 5-thousand structures are threatened and the cause of the fire is unknown.
