The Ferrari Challenge Series, scheduled to begin this weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is also the start of the Covid-19-delayed race-season at the iconic raceway. No spectators will be in the stands this year….and race teams (and raceway staff) are required to follow Covid-19 protocol….including showing up at the raceway with a negative result from a test for Covid-19 . The modified Laguna Seca schedule will continue with the GEICO Motorcycle MotoAmerica Superbike SpeedFest at Monterey, and the Hyundai Monterey SportsCar Championship coming into town next month….before the Trans Am Speedfest wraps things up in December. The Ferrari Challenge Series will be on TV one week later on CBS Sports Network, and Ferrari will live stream the races online. Saturday’s action begins with qualifying before the race starting at 1:30 p.m. More qualifying will take place Sunday morning before the race at 1 p.m.
