Middle aged school students with an interest in science and nature are being invited to become lagoon scientists. Students will be taught how to examine microscopic creatures, and will learn about the environment and wildlife of the Corcoran Lagoon. They will also learn how to write reports, take pictures, take water samples, and how to identify birds and plants. Classes will be held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from 2-4p at the Live Oak Library located at 2380 Portola Dr.
