(14:11) SANTA CRUZ- The wife of the Santa Cruz neurosurgeon charged with multiple counts of sexual assault on children has filed for legal separation. Doctor Karen Kohut, a gynecologist, initiated the legal maneuver to safeguard her finances. At this time it appears she chooses to remain married to James Kohut who remains behind bars pending a bail hearing later this week.
