Tomorrow a Santa Cruz county superior court judge is expected to hear a motion requesting the joining of 2 cases….that of local neurosurgeon James Kohut, and one of his alleged accomplices nurse Rashel Brandon. The following day a bail hearing is scheduled for Kohut, who has been charged with multiple counts of sexual assault on children. The bail hearing is set to begin at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, and some people have said they will protest on the court house steps before that.
