(8:32) CORALITTOS- A juvenile armed with a knife was fatally shot by Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies on Saturday. Shortly before 3 a.m., patrol units responded to a report of multiple stabbing victims on the 800 block of Amesti Road near Watsonville. At the scene deputies located two stabbing victims in critical and serious condition. The officers had a brief interaction with a 15 year old male armed with a knife before the teen fled. A few minutes later he was located nearby on the 300 block of Pioneer Road where several non lethal attempts to subdue the suspect were made before lethal force was used when the teen advanced on officers. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The stabbing victims were air lifted to a bay area trauma center.
