AUTHORITIES IN KING CITY ARE INVESTIGATING A RASH OF SHOOTINGS THAT OCCURRED IN THE CITY OVER THE PAST SEVERAL DAYS. THE FIRST SHOOTING OCCURRED TUESDAY NIGHT WHEN A TEEN WAS SHOT AT A GAS STATION WITH A FRIEND. HE WAS TREATED FOR HIS WOUNDS AND RELEASED. THEN A 16-YEAR OLD MALE WAS SHOT WEDNESDAY AT 7:40 P.M. WHILE RIDING IN HIS BROTHER’S CAR IN THE 200-BLOCK OF FRANCISCAN WAY. HE WAS ALSO TREATED AND RELEASED. FINALLY, YESTERDAY AT 4:40 A.M. OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE 300-BLOCK OF ELLIS STREET AND FOUND A 27-YEAR OLD MAN SUFFERING FROM MULTIPLE GUNSHOT WOUNDS. HE WAS AIRLIFTED TO A BAY AREA TRAUMA CENTER.
