King City man convicted in cyberbullying case 02-05-20 18:00 DC

A King City man will spend two years and eight months in prison after he was convicted of attempted extortion. Police said it was a case of domestic violence cyberbullying.

30-year-old Jesus Lopez, Jr., last May broke up with a girlfriend, apparently because of his meth use. The victim told investigators that she wanted no contact with him, but he called her multiple times. He also tried to get the victim fired by calling her boss to accuse her of theft and drug use. Lopez pleaded no-contest in the case.
