The King City and Greenfield Police Departments joint Major Crimes Unit arrested 2 attempted homicide suspects on Saturday. Shortly before 6 P-M officers arrived at the scene of a reported shooting at a gas station on the 6 hundred block of Broadway Street in King City. Investigators learned 5 men had been involved in a gang altercation and one person was being treated for a gunshot wound. Following a review of the city wide surveillance video systems. The suspects were located and several arrest were made. 21 year old Hector Duarte and Jorge Cortes, also 21, were arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail on attempted murder charges.
