The Kincade fire burning in Sonoma county charred 64-thousand acres and is only five percent contained. Firefighters had achieved 10-percent containment but fierce winds made matters worse for fire crews overnight.
94 structures have burned and some 80-thousand buildings are threatened by flames. 180-thousand people are under evacuation orders… fleeing the Kincade fire.
In Los Angeles… the Getty fire burning near the getty center burned 250 acres with over 400-firefighters on scene. The blaze broke out on the southbound side of the 405-freeway very early this morning and quickly spread. Mandatory evacuations are underway there.
