An interim Chief of Police has now been chosen to fill the position that Robert Masterson resigned from in King City. Captain Keith Boyd has been picked to hold down that job until a permanent Police Chief can be chosen. Masterson stepped down so he could accept the job as the Police Chief for the city of Atascadero. His last day on the job in King City was Sunday.
